In a shocking incident of double murder in Uttar Pradesh, a 55-year-old businessman and his son were shot dead by unidentified persons in the Maharajganj area of Azamgarh district in on Wednesday. A video of the deadly incident was caught on CCTV and has surfaced on social media platforms. In-charge of Maharajganj police station Sanjay Singh said that Rashid, a resident of Gopalpur village, ran a readymade garment business from his house in Sardaha Bazar. According to the video, on Wednesday morning, while Rashid and his son Shoaib were cleaning their shop, three motorcycle-borne miscreants reached the spot. Cops said that the miscreants first shot Rashid inside the shop. When Shoaib, in a bid to save his life, ran towards the under-construction portion of the house, the miscreants chased and shot him as well.
