It was a starry night in Mumbai. No, the clouds have still not cleared the sky but it was GQ Men of the Year Awards 2019. The Bollywood brigade turned up at the event in the most fashionable outfits. They made style statements that we all can take cues from. But the night was not just about sartorial choices, but awarding the best of the best of the season. Personalities from all walks, entertainment, fashion, sports, business and environmentalists were awarded for excellence in various categories. The event also saw a performance by comedian Russell Peters. Amongst attendees were Hrithik Roshan, Swara Bhasker, Radhika Madan, Abhimanyu Dassani, Kubbra Sait, Shahid Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Sara Ali Khan, Anand Ahuja, just to name a very few. Designer of the Year Award was given to Gaurav Gupta

Sara Ali Khan was the Breakthrough Talent of the Year. The actress made her debut in December 2018 with Kedarnath and followed it up with Simmba.

Gurinder Chadha won Director of the Year

Abraham and Thakore won Fashion Sustainability Award

Entrepreneur Anand Ahuja Won Most Stylish Man of The Year Award.

Prahlad Kakar and Nayantara Jain Were Awarded Ecological Champion of the Year Award

Eco Warrior of the Year Award Was Given to Afroz Shah

Katrina Kaif Was Awarded Rulebreaker of The Year Trophy

Ayushmann Khurrana won Actor of the Year Award. Another One Added to the shelf for his performances in Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun.

Pankaj Advani was the Sportsman of the Year Award

Hrithik Roshan Won Game Changer of the Year Award

Shahid Kapoor Won Ultimate Man of the Year Award
